A Few Words:

I guess the best way to describe myself would be as an imperfect perfectionist. Another way might also be as someone who knows a little of everything. While this can be handy, especially when troubleshooting something I'd actually say its probably my biggest and most frustrating weakness. Its hard not having one solid strength (at least one that I'm aware of myself). Then again, I suppose while its hard to not have that one thing to sell myself as it doesn't hurt being someone who can help in a variety of situations.

To date I've been out of college for about 4 years or so with my BA in Digital Art and have yet to find a job (for various frustrating reasons, mostly location). I've done some freelance web design, but nothing very rewarding. To be honest I've recently come to realize that I'm much more technical then artistic and enjoy helping people. It's rewarding to have someone ask me how to fix something or do something on a computer and be able to do. What started out at first as something I enjoyed doing for just friends and family has now become something I'd like to do for a career.

I'm a problem solver and very detail oriented by nature. Tinkering with computers or troubleshooting is fun. I find it to be like a good brain teaser at times, so why not exploit that? Hence my desire to switch from an artistic direction to something more technical and IT Help Desk oriented. This is what I'm looking for as work. Oh, sure I'd still like to dabble with web design and texturing etc, but not full time.
